Cameroon Pepper is a powder that is widely used in Nigeria to cook due to its exceptional heat and unique flavour. Wangarau Cameroon Pepper is made from dried black pepper, also known as penja black peppercorns which is a hot and pungent spice with a host of health benefits. It contains an active component called piperine that gives its characteristic taste. It is what gives pepper its spicy, pungent taste. It contains iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, chromium, vitamins A and C, and other nutrients. In fact, it is used extensively in Ayurvedic medicine. A pinch of this pepper added to any recipe works as more than just a flavour enhancer.the pepper is added to savoury dishes during cooking to retain its flavour and is majorly used in soups, pepper soups, sauces, and to spice up beef, fish, chicken.
