Description
Stout is a darker, thicker and silkier version of traditional beer. Though the origin of stout beer is often linked to Dublin, Ireland where the world's most famous brand - Guinness - is made, it was actually first brewed in London about 40 years before Guinnness started brewing in 1759. A popular variant of the regular dark stout is milk stout which is made from lactose. It has often been commented to have health benefits and you'll find people drinking it as an energy booster and to help cure various ailments.
